Addendum to the Election Administration Plan - 2020
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Registrar of Voters created an addendum to the Election Administration Plan to inform voters of the changes that would be made for the November 3, 2020 Presidential Election.

Inaugural Election Administration Plan - 2019
In order to develop the Election Administration Plan (EAP), the Registrar of Voters (ROV) gathered input from Santa Clara County communities and organizations to hear any concerns or feedback. Throughout June and July 2019, the ROV held a total of 12 EAP Public Consultation Meetings. There were two general public meetings, two meetings that focused on accessibility concerns, and one meeting for each of the eight language communities that the County currently serves. With input from the community, the ROV developed the draft EAP.
After the draft was publicized, interested community members and organizations were given a 14-day comment period to provide feedback on the draft EAP. Additionally, the ROV held two public hearings and heard feedback on the various aspects of the plan including voter education and outreach, ballot access, Vote Center operations, and voting accessibility. Based on the comments received, the ROV developed an amended draft EAP.
Following the publication of the amended draft, the ROV held one final public comment period before finalizing the EAP for the Secretary of State’s approval.
