Nomination Period Closes This Week for June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – The nomination period closes this week Friday, March 11 at 5:00 p.m. for offices participating in the June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election. The deadline may be extended to Wednesday, March 16 for contests in which an eligible incumbent officeholder does not file.
“This is the last week to file,” said Shannon Bushey, Registrar of Voters. “We urge candidates to file as soon as possible.”
