Job Description: Under direct supervision, to assist with opening and closing Vote Centers, setting up equipment and supplies, checking in and processing voters, distributing ballots, assisting voters with casting their ballots, explaining the use of voting equipment, ensuring that ballots are collected appropriately, answering voter questions, and printing, scanning, filing, batching, and boxing ballots at a Vote Center or at the Registrar of Voters Office.
Hourly Rate: Starting at $26.56 per hour
Job Description: During your time as an Election Worker - Warehouse you will operate materials handling equipment and perform manual tasks in the receipt, storage, and delivery of a variety of election materials and related tasks as required.
Assignments in this classification are temporary assignments, plus overtime as needed.
Training and Experience Note: The required knowledge and abilities are attained through training and experience equivalent to possession of a high school diploma, and six (6) months of experience in storeroom methods and procedures used in the receipt storage, and issuance of goods.
