Volunteer Opportunities at the Registrar of Voters' Main Office
Fulfill your civic duty and volunteer in the November 5, 2024 Presidential General Election!
On Election Day, November 5, 2024, and ten (10) days prior, volunteers will check in materials as they arrive, sort and deliver ballots, assist in the vital process of ensuring that every vote received is counted and post-election clean-up. Volunteer shifts will take place at the ROV's Main Office located at 1555 Berger Drive, San Jose, CA 95112.
Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in signing-up to serve as an election volunteer, please contact the ROV Administrative Services Division by email at [email protected] or by phone at (408) 918-9169.
Please note that walk-ins may not be accommodated due to limited volunteer spots. We encourage signing-up in advance to secure your spot.

Times will vary depending on the shift you sign up for. Each shift is considered a partial day. Volunteers working two or more shifts in a day will be issued a stipend check at the full-day rate. We offer a stipend of $65 per partial day shift and $115 for a full day.
